Hello,
Why isn't this blog being kept up to date? When is the next meeting?

Hi, Just curious about your genealogy club. My family lived in Shrewsbury in the mid 1800's to the early 1900's. I've traced my family tree back to the 17th century from the family members who lived here in town. Took me 20 years to do so!

Hello,
It looks like this blog is not very active.
I would very much like to connect with ANYONE who has any information on the HEMINGWAY/HEMENWAY family who lived in Shrewsbury in the 1800s.
Is there another way to contact researchers in the area?
Thanks a million!

My GGG Grandfather, Thomas Lloyd was born in Shrewsbury on the 21st of December 1778. I do not know if his parents lived there or whether they were just there for a short time on business or holiday. I do not have the names of his parents. The only information I have is his Name and Birth Date and the city of birth, which is Shrewsbury. Is there a record of all births in the city of Shrewsbury, that could be searched to find out the names of his parents and their place of residence, etc? I do know that he was married and raised his family of eleven (11) children around the area of Broseley, Shropshire. I have searched records in Broseley, Shropshire and have found information about his children and his wife and her parents, etc. my e-mail address is jdavis@digis.net I live in the USA and do not know who else to contact. I found your Genealogy club site on the Internet. I hope someone there can help me. If you can tell me an agency or government office that can help me I would appreciate your help.
Thank You,
Jack Davis

Sorry about the lack of activity here, but as of now things should heat up a bit. We now have the blog setup to allow club members to post by themselves without admin interaction. See other posts with suggestions as to how post queries, tips, and other items.
